I thoroughly enjoy working on Family History and have known for years I was related to Harry F. Perry, famed Cinematographer from 20’s who filmed, “Wings” (1927), “Hell’s Angels” and other notables. It has sparked further interest and I couldn’t help but consider the contrasting advanced ways it is done now from stories I’ve read of cameramen/pilots literally going down with the planes. Are you aware of any society that preserves the history of cinematographers or where I might go to learn more concerning my ancestor’s profession? KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
